Geometry & Grace: Barragán’s House Through My Lens

During my recent trip to Mexico City, I had the chance to visit the iconic Casa Luis Barragán—a place that has long been on my architectural bucket list. Wandering through its serene spaces, I was captivated by the masterful use of vibrant color, natural light, and texture that defines Barragán’s unique vision. With camera in hand, I set out to capture the quiet poetry of this home: the bold pinks and yellows, the interplay of light and shadow, and the minimalist design that define this iconic example of Mexican modernist architecture. The spiritual stillness permeates every corner. This series of photographs is my personal tribute to one of Mexico’s most celebrated architects and a space that truly feels like a work of art.
